Welcome to Forte>Piano Studio! We provide professional piano instruction to students in NYCand Brooklyn.  Our home studio is located in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn NY near the Beverley Road Q subway station.

The goals for Forte>Piano Studio are for each student to develop solid piano, music theory and ear-training skills, and most importantly acquire a life-lasting love, respect and understanding of music. We offer lessons in classical, jazz, blues, and rock styles, as well as music composition and theory.  Lesson activities, which are tailored to age and ability, include: repertoire performance, technique, music theory, ear training, sight-reading, memorization and improvisation.

>BRAVO! to Lyra Summer Music Workshop 2011
The second season of the Lyra Summer Music workshop was a huge success! 
Bravo to students Jacob, Curtis, Stephen, Shea, Sophia, Marko, Audrey, Ellie, Lea
and Oliver. 
They worked intensively with Akiko and faculty for three weeks in Randolph, Vermont.
They made incredible progress and performed beautifully!
